Teams from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency are on the ground clearing properties of hazardous waste such as asbestos, paint, household cleaners and lithium batteries, as part of Phase I of the fire debris removal process. This work is free to residents and essential before the regular debris can be removed. To learn more, please visit recovery.lacounty.gov/debris-removal.
