Rebuild Fee Waivers & Refunds

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the LA County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Supervisor Barger’s motion to waive and refund fees for qualifying property owners rebuilding single-family homes in unincorporated Los Angeles County following the Eaton and Palisades wildfires. To qualify, the property owner must have both owned and lived in the property being rebuilt prior to January 7, 2025. To learn more, click here.

Disaster Recovery Centers Are Now Closed

ATTENTION: Disaster Recovery Centers closed on Saturday, May 31st.

Those impacted by the Eaton and Palisades fires can continue to receive essential services beginning Monday, June 2 at the following locations:

One-Stop Rebuilding Center

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed weekends.

Altadena Community Center
730 E. Altadena Drive, Altadena, CA 91001
Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed weekends.

Disaster Recovery Centers are open to the public Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

One-Stop Permitting Centers

For unincorporated LA County communities, One-Stop Permit Centers are also available in Calabasas and Altadena for residents impacted by the Palisades and Eaton fires. LA County permitting agencies, including Fire Department, Regional Planning, Public Health, Public Works Geotechnical and Materials Engineering Division and Public Works Building and Safety, are available to guide owners and their representatives through the rebuild process and answer any questions they may have. Walk-ins are welcome and consultation appointments can be scheduled.
