February 2024 Winter Storm Recovery

Los Angeles County is committed to continuing its support of all the impacted communities and maximizing state and federal aid to recover from this year’s winter storms. Now that a Major Disaster has been declared by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., eligibility for federal programs will be based on the unique damage and extent of impacts incurred locally. Currently, the major disaster declaration authorized Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation, which provides supplemental grants to local government.
