LA County Household Relief Grant Now Accepting Applications

LOS ANGELES – Starting today, Los Angeles County residents directly impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles County Eaton and Palisades fire and windstorm events can apply for financial assistance through the LA County Household Relief Grant.

In a motion introduced on January 28, 2025, by Supervisors Lindsey P. Horvath and Kathryn Barger, the LA County Board of Supervisors established a unified Los Angeles County Fire Recovery Fund to provide financial resources to communities impacted by the Eaton and Pacific Palisades wildfires.

The LA County Household Relief Grant offers immediate financial assistance to impacted households, helping bridge financial gaps and promote the general welfare of affected individuals and families until insurance or government recovery resources become available.

The program is administered by the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) in partnership with The Center by Lendistry.

Grant Program Details

  • Grant Amounts: $6,000 to $18,000, based on household size and composition
  • Eligible Uses: Unmet needs not covered by other forms of assistance
  • Application Period: February 26, 2025 – March 12, 2025
  • Application Portal Opens: February 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM

Support the Relief Effort

In addition to the $32.2 million in ARPA-enabled funding allocated to the program, Los Angeles County has launched a Disaster Relief and Recovery Donations Portal. Individuals can contribute directly to the LA County Household Relief Grant Program by visiting lacounty.gov/relief.
