Join representatives from LA County, the Foothill Catalog and Sunset Mesa Collective for a community workshop on innovative rebuilding solutions for wildfire-impacted neighborhoods. Learn how LA County’s preapproved plans and streamlined permitting processes can help homeowners rebuild more efficiently, safely and affordably—while preserving the historic character of our neighborhoods and meeting modern codes.

Rebuilding Together Event

On February 13 and 14, 2025, three separate “Rebuilding Together” events were hosted at LA County Public Works headquarters to bring together industry professionals to share creative ideas, lessons learned and feedback for how government and industry and work together to facilitate rebuilding at an unprecedented scale. Hundreds of attendees participated in various breakout sessions focused on collecting feedback, engaging in open dialogue and providing a line of communication between the building industry and government.
