LA County eCheck for Faster Home Approvals
LA County is partnering with Archistar to launch the new eCheck AI Pilot, a cutting-edge tool that reviews building plans for compliance with zoning and building rules using artificial intelligence.

Visit to view a dashboard with the number of registered users, the number of submitted plans, and the number of plans submitted for each of the three review types – building code essentials, like-for-like rebuild, and non-like-for-like rebuild.
If your single-family home was impacted by the Eaton Fire or the Palisades Fire and is located in a single-family (R-1) residential zone in the unincorporated Altadena or Sunset Mesa communities, you are invited to join as an Early Adopter.
