Disaster Recovery Centers will be closed Sundays

Altadena and UCLA Research Park Disaster Recovery Centers will be open Monday through Saturday beginning Monday, February 24, 2025.

The Disaster Recovery Centers in Altadena and at UCLA Research Park West will be closed on Sundays effective February 24, 2025. The new operating hours will be Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Residents are able to access a wide range of services at the Disaster Recovery Centers located in Altadena and UCLA Research Park West six days a week.

Dozens of federal, state and local agencies have staff on site to provide in-person help with signing up for disaster relief and navigating questions around everything from replacing vital records lost in the fires to questions about registering for debris clean up and navigating insurance claims.

The deadline to sign up for federal disaster assistance through FEMA is March 10, 2025. Residents who can’t visit a Disaster Recovery Center can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800-621-3362.
