Recovery information and resources for the Boyle Heights Storage Facility Fire

Although smoke in the area has decreased, a Smoke Advisory remains in place. Individuals with sensitivity to smoke should continue to monitor AQMD Air Quality alerts (AQMD.gov) and avoid unnecessary exposure to outdoor air. For updates visit LAFD.org/Alerts.

City Terrace Smoke Respite Shelter Update
The City Terrace Smoke Respite Shelter will close on Saturday, June 27 at 12:00 PM. Resources, including Personal Protective Equipment, water and other essential supplies will remain available through ongoing distribution events to ensure residents have access to needed support. ESTEAM youth programming will be available to local youth at the City Terrace Park Gym.

Actualización del Refugio de Alivio contra el Humo de City Terrace
El Refugio de Alivio contra el Humo de City Terrace cerrará el sábado 27 de junio a las 12:00 PM. Los recursos, incluyendo Equipo de Protección Personal, agua y otros suministros esenciales, seguirán disponibles a través de eventos de distribución continuos para garantizar que los residentes tengan acceso al apoyo necesario. Residents can access resources at both shelters without checking in, including food, water and protective masks. A mobile health clinic is also on site at the County’s City Terrace shelter.
